Wenatchee Valley Volleyball battled against Walla Walla Community College, showing several strong moments throughout the match but ultimately falling 0-3.
Although the final score did not go our way, there were stretches where we competed well, played with confidence, and showed what we are capable of when we stay disciplined and connected. We had moments of strong defensive effort, aggressive serving, and quality offensive execution, but we struggled to maintain that level of play consistently from start to finish.
Against a team like Walla Walla, we have to be able to respond quickly when momentum shifts and stay focused on doing our individual jobs each point. There were too many moments where small mistakes turned into multiple points, and that made it difficult for us to regain control of the match.
Despite the loss, there are positives we can continue to build on. Our team continues to grow, and every match gives us another opportunity to learn how to compete with more confidence, consistency, and purpose.
Our focus moving forward is continuing to trust our training, communicate through adversity, and become more intentional about executing our responsibilities on the court. We showed glimpses of the volleyball we want to play, and now the challenge is learning how to sustain it throughout an entire match
