A Knights Soccer Story

The Wenatchee Valley has been no stranger to Soccer talent and success. From having an undefeated season back in 2005 which led them to lift the very first Soccer NWAC trophy for the college, but there has been something missing since then.

Wenatchee Valley College Soccer has always come up a bit short, not making the NWAC round of 16 due to a point, a loss, or goal point difference. The men's team last made their in the NWAC playoff appearance in the fall of 2019 and have since struggled to see their breakthrough, awaiting the opportunity to reap the rewards of a hard worked season. Last Season was a spark of something new and very unfamiliar to the college. This new spark was a massive group of international student-athletes. Athletes who traveled as far as 5,000 miles to be a part of the athletic program. As the soccer program looks to flip the script and bring hardware to the glass cases, the program is also looking to integrate, forge, and cement those foundations that make up a Knight. Humility, honor, sacrifice, integrity, mercy, and courage.

As we turn the page from last season, we start a new chapter. A chapter that will be filled with; obstacles, voyages, glory, and most importantly memories. Memories that will last a lifetime, memories that create lessons that these student athletes will carry on for the rest of their lives. Memories of being a Wenatchee Valley Knight.
