Karina enters her second year with Wenatchee Valley College as the Head Athletic Trainer.
Karina grew up in Surrey, British Columbia where she completed her Bachelor of Human Kinetics in 2018. From there, she worked as a Kinesiologist for Columbia Bible College, and worked with multiple semi-professional teams such as Langley Rams Junior Football, Langley Warriors Junior and Senior Lacrosse, and Vancouver Bandits from the Canadian Elite Basketball League. In 2020, Karina pursued her Master of Science in Athletic Training (2022) at Whitworth University, which gained her knowledge and experience through multiple clinical rotations, including with the Spokane Chiefs WHL Hockey Team, and Colorado University's Football team.
Previously, Karina was the Head Athletic Trainer for the Wenatchee Wild in the Western Hockey League from 2023-2025. Prior to this, she was the Head Athletic Trainer for the Prince George Spruce Kings Junior Hockey Team in the British Columbia Hockey League.
Karina enjoys spending time in the outdoors - especially skiing and hiking!
