Carrie O'Donnell

Carrie O’Donnell joins the Wenatchee Valley College volleyball program in her first year as head coach. A WVC alumna herself, O’Donnell brings both experience and passion to the court, having played volleyball throughout middle school, high school, and two years at WVC. She also competed in club volleyball during high school and continues to stay active in the sport through coed, women’s, and beach volleyball leagues.

Before stepping into her current role, O’Donnell served as the head coach for an NCWVBC U-16 club team, where she developed young athletes and fostered their growth both on and off the court.

A proud mom to a fun and energetic six-year-old son, O’Donnell enjoys sharing her love for the game with him. Together they enjoy spending time outdoors, watching movies, and being involved with their family and the WVC community.

O’Donnell’s favorite part of coaching is seeing her players grow—whether in their athletic skills or mental toughness. She finds it incredibly rewarding to watch them apply what they’ve learned, improve individually, and come together as a team.

Her goal as head coach is to build a successful program filled with athletes who love what they do, never give up, and proudly represent Wenatchee Valley College both on and off the court. As a former WVC student-athlete, she understands the unique challenges her players face and is dedicated to supporting them in every way possible—continuing to grow a strong, positive program that embodies the true spirit of WVC.
