Coach Guzman Sanchez is in his third year leading the Wenatchee Valley College Men’s Soccer program. A Frederic, WI native, he brings an impressive playing résumé that includes time with Connell High School, Wenatchee Valley College, Indiana University East, and even Spain’s Leganés U21 reserve team. His career highlights include multiple league championships, Player of the Year honors, and recognition as an NWAC All-Star midfielder.

At WVC, Coach Guzman Sanchez has guided both the men’s and women’s soccer programs to playoff appearances and has also coached at the high school and semi-pro levels, including a league and district championship run with Wenatchee High School Boys Soccer.

Off the pitch, he is a husband and proud father of two. His favorite part of coaching is mentoring student-athletes through both sport and academics, showing them that success is possible regardless of circumstance. His coaching philosophy centers on player development, discipline, and preparing athletes to succeed not just in soccer, but in life.

“If you believe, you can achieve.”
