The Knights carried their momentum from day 1 of the Yakima Classic into day 2 versus the Mount Hood Community College Saints. The Knights led by 11 points after one quarter, (Wenatchee 22, Mt. Hood 11), and did not look back after that. The Saints could not offensively get going as the Knights defensive pressure held the Saints to only 6 points in the second quarter, 7 points in the third quarter, and 9 points in the fourth quarter. The Knights, however, were fueled by their defensive stops and scored 15 points in the second quarter, 25 points in the third quarter, and 14 points in the fourth quarter for a final scoreline of 76 to 33.
