The 2025 Yakima Classic saw the Knights start their first contest against the Edmonds College Tritons with huge momentum in the first quarter. The Knights raced out to a 12 point lead (Wenatchee 20, Edmonds 8) after the first quarter. In the second quarter, the Knights continued their offensive run to extend their lead by 18 points to go into the half with scoreline of 37 to 19. In the third quarter, the Knights continued their control of the game and extended their lead by 24 points to go into the fourth quarter leading the game 57 to 33. In the fourth quarter, the contest saw back-and-forth shots from both teams, but the Knights cruised to a final score of 69 to 46.
